This month, after living more than 100 years on this earth, Fernand Victor went to be with our Lord.

Fernand is the main reason the Sam Elderly home was founded in 2016 after hurricane Matthew decimated his home. His life is a celebration and the impact he's made is unfathomable. Here's a man who, 10+ years ago, was living alone up a mountain and his biggest goal was to purchase his coffin because he knew no one else would after he passed.

Now, we have an elderly home due to how God turned his misfortunes into good. 16 elders have a place to call home, friends to play dominoes with, and 24/7 care because of his perseverance.

Today, we rejoice in God’s faithfulness in Fernand’s life.
