Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday- what does that mean for us? It means an opportunity to share our "why" with all of you. This year's "why" are the 15 elders we have the pleasure of serving.

MH's Sid & Marie Elderly Home is a family-style retirement home for one of the most disadvantaged groups in Haiti: the elderly. Our goal is to provide a high standard quality of life in a country where elders are not provided such. Most of the elders are either blind or cannot walk on their own but all of their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being are cared for by an amazing caring staff.

After moving to a new facility this year, the new home now houses 15 members with the capacity to add 5 more. An increase in elders also means an increase on the cost to love on them and provide for them.

For this giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise part of the added cost with all funds raised going directly to the elderly home in Haiti.

We are entirely blessed to know each and every one of them.
